Defining Strategic Priorities for the Next Decade of Nigerian Content Implementation
For 15 years, the PNC Forum has provided an invaluable platform for connecting, engaging and discussing innovative strategies with government and industry leaders across the value chain.
Dedicated to supporting energy sufficiency, the Forum showcases Nigeria as a pioneer in local content development and strengthens regional collaboration through meaningful knowledge exchange and policy dialogue.
With Nigerian Content growing from 5% at inception to 26% in 2016 and reaching 61% in 2025, discussions at PNC continue to drive progress, fueling increased local participation, innovation, and capacity building across the sector. Prior to the NOGICD Act, only 3% of the $20 billion annual industry spend was retained in-country, a stark contrast to the transformation seen today.
This progress is further supported by initiatives like the Nigerian Content Intervention Fund, which has expanded from $200 million to $400 million, giving stakeholders greater access to capital that accelerates growth, deepens participation, and secures Nigeria’s energy future.
Be part of the conversations that will shape the future of Nigerian Content at PNC 2026.
