Most visitors require a visa to enter Nigeria. Business travellers attending the PNC Forum should apply for the appropriate visa category in advance of travel.

Applications can be made through your nearest Nigerian embassy or via the official immigration portal, where applicable. Some nationalities may be eligible for Visa on Arrival, subject to prior approval. It is strongly recommended that travellers begin the visa process well ahead of their departure date.

Please note that we are only able to provide visa invitation letters to fully registered participants and once receipt of any outstanding payment has been verified. It is the responsibility of the individual to arrange and bear any costs associated with obtaining an entry visa. At dmg Nigeria events, we may be able to assist with this process but cannot accept liability for any costs nor any costs associated with the failure to obtain such entry visa.

The nearest airports are Port Harcourt International Airport and Bayelsa Airport (Yenagoa Airport). These airports are served by major domestic airlines including Ibom Air, Value Jet, Air Peace e.t.c. 

Attendees are strongly advised to arrange airport transfers and journey management in advance to ensure a smooth and stress-free journey to Yenagoa.

The road commute from Port Harcourt International Airport to Yenagoa typically takes around 2–2.5 hours, depending on traffic and road conditions. 

Please note that November and December are particularly busy periods in Yenagoa, so early hotel bookings and transportation arrangements are strongly recommended.

A valid Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is mandatory for entry into Nigeria and may be requested upon arrival.

Additional recommended vaccinations may include Hepatitis A and B, Typhoid, Tetanus, and routine immunisations. Visitors are advised to consult a healthcare professional or travel clinic at least 4–8 weeks prior to travel for personalised medical guidance.

Bayelsa is a welcoming destination for business and event visitors, with security measures in place across major hotels, venues and key areas. Attendees travelling to the PNC Forum are advised to use reputable transportation providers and, where possible, arrange airport transfers and local transportation through their hotel or trusted service providers.

As with any business travel, guests should remain aware of their surroundings, follow official travel advisories, carry identification at all times, and take reasonable precautions when moving around the city. The PNC Forum organisers will also implement on-site security measures at the event venue to help ensure a safe, secure and professional environment for all delegates and participants.
